The Dayton Dueling Pianos show has more audience interaction success than any other even dares to attempt. Dueling pianos IS a great idea IF (and only if) you get the right act. Each dueling pianos company is different. EVERY Dayton Dueling Pianos show is performed by audience interactive experts whose career focus is audience interaction and entertainment. Sam Ferguson owns Dayton Dueling Pianos, goes on many of the shows himself, and hires only a handful of guys who love our audience & client-first format, and do an excellent job of it, on and off stage. We are just trying to spread around a good time, and make a living at it while we do it. (Oh…and yes we are fully licensed, insured, accredited, and all that good stuff). Dayton Dueling Pianos gives you the real show. Every time. We won't accept your contract or money unless we have a great show available to you on your date.

With any company, be careful of these surprising problems many people face upon hiring other traveling dueling piano show companies:
Some dueling pianos shows are run by agents. These are not dueling pianos players, and their main concern is making a profit. They do this by, once attaining a contract, getting low-priced players for the contracted show.
Some dueling piano shows are no more than a couple of players with many musical endeavors, doing a few prerequisite tunes and forcing a few canned jokes..basically part-time dueling pianos players
Some dueling pianos shows actually avoid singalong tunes because the players don’t enjoy “selling out”.
Some dueling piano shows do know lots of songs, and can handle many requests, but don't have entertainment skills, and don’t know which requested songs will please more than the one person who requested it.
